Super Bowl Date and Location

The exact date and location of the Super Bowl LIV have been known for some time now, so let’s take a look at the setting for the final game before we go on with our predictions and picks.

Super Bowl Date

Like every other Super Bowl since 2003, the 54th Super Bowl will be played during the first week of February. The game is scheduled for Sunday, February 2, which is the official Super Bowl date.

While the official time of the kickoff is yet to be determined, it should be somewhere around 6:30 PM, judging by the kickoff times of previous Super Bowls.

This Super Bowl will be the second to be played on Feb. 2. The previous was the Super Bowl XLVIII in 2013 when Seahawks beat the Broncos in New York to become the NFL champions.

That answers the question of when is Super Bowl  going to take place. Now let’s take a look at where is the Super Bowl  going to be played.https://usbettingcodes.com/fanduel-sportsbook-offers

Super Bowl Location

Miami got the opportunity to host the Super Bowl , which is not the first time this city was chosen for this honor. In fact, the final game of the NFL season was played in Miami 10 times before and with the Super Bowl LIV being held there, Miami will become tied with New Orleans as the city with most Super Bowl games in the country.

The exact location of Super Bowl became known back in 2016, when Miami got the nod over Atlanta, Tampa, Los Angeles and New Orleans. The game will be played at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, a city some 15 miles away from central Miami.

The stadium is home to both Miami Dolphins and Miami Hurricanes and the renovations finished in 2016 were a major reason why it was selected as the Super Bowl location, in addition to the perpetually warm weather. The recent renovations on the Hard Rock Stadium cost around $450 million and while the seating capacity saw a reduction from 75,000 to 65,000, the stadium got new video boards, seating pods and suites.

Performers at Super Bowl

Super Bowl is not just a football game – it is a whole entertainment experience. Getting a chance to perform at the Super Bowl half time is considered one of the greatest honors for musicians, just like the opportunity to sing the national anthem before the game.

Super Bowl National Anthem Singer

The NFL announced on January 16 that the singer of the national anthem at Super Bowl LIV in Miami will be the Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter Demi Lovato.

In addition to this, Christine Sun Kim will sing the national anthem in sign language on behalf of the National Association of the Deaf.

 Super Bowl Half-Time Show

There have been many iconic performances at Super Bowl halftime shows and with the dynamic Latin duo consisting of Jennifer Lopez and Shakira, we can certainly expect another spectacle in the Super Bowl halftime show .

The two Latino icons will perform together for the first time ever, thanks to the NFL, Pepsi and Roc Nation who brought them together in the end. Although neither of them is Miami native, considering the fact that Florida has a large Latino population, the choice is more than right.

Super Bowl Tickets

Tickets for the big event in Miami were available weeks before we even found out who will play in Super Bowl LIV. You can find four different packages at the league’s official ticket website:

Touchdown Club – At the price of $4,725, you get the ticket, NFL alumni experience and all-inclusive pregame hospitality.

54 Live – At the price of $6,525, you get the ticket, open-air tailgate party and all-inclusive pregame hospitality

Legends – At the price of $9,000, you get the ticket, NFL legends meet & greet and stadium club access.

On the Fifty – The price for this package is not listed but it includes ticket, postgame field access and 72 Club access.

49ers vs. Chiefs – The Road to Super Bowl LIV

Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers will play for the championship title in Miami on February 2. But how did they get there?

San Francisco 49ers Road to Super Bowl

San Francisco 49ers ended the 2018-2019 NFL season with 4 wins and 12 losses, which tied them for the second-worst place with 3 other teams and got them the 2nd pick in the 2019 NFL draft. In the draft, they selected Nick Bosa, a defensive end from Ohio State who made the Pro Bowl as a rookie and exceeded even the wildest expectations this season.

The 49ers started the season with 8-0, the first time this happened since the Joe Montana era in 1990. This also meant that 49ers will have their first non-losing season since 2014. The 49ers clinched the playoff spot in week 15, the first time since 2013. They finished tied with Packers and Saints with a record of 13-3 but they clinched the top seed in NFC thanks to the better head-to-head score with these two teams. This meant that 49ers would have the home-field advantage for the first time since 1997.

In the playoffs, San Francisco 49ers beat Minnesota Vikings 27-10 in the Divisional Round, then Green Bay Packers 37-20 in the NFC Championship Game.

The odds for the 49ers winning the title were set at +4,000 before the start of the season. If they end up with a win in Super Bowl, they will be the most unlikely winner, along with the 2017-2018 Eagles and 2001-2002 Patriots.

The 49ers will have a chance to win their 6th NFL title and tie New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers for the most Super Bowl championships.

Kansas City Chiefs Road to Super Bowl

After clinching the tops spot in the AFC last season and ultimately falling to Patriots in the overtime of the AFC Championship game, Kansas City Chiefs entered the 2019-2020 season with a clear goal of going a couple of steps further.

The Chiefs started the season with 4 straight wins but then they hit a bit of bump and lost 4 of their next 6 games, entering the week 11 with a record of 6-4. However, Kansas City managed to pull themselves together and win the last 6 games to end the regular season with a score of 12-4, which was enough to get them the 2nd place in the AFC and a bye in the playoffs.

In the playoffs, the Chiefs had a rocky road to the Super Bowl. In the Divisional Round, the Chiefs fell behind to Houston Texas 24-0 in the second quarter.  However, they managed to win the game after scoring 51 points for the remainder of the game, setting the franchise record for most points scored in a playoff game.

The Chiefs ended up hosting the AFC Championship game second year in a row after Baltimore Ravens lost to Tennessee Titans in the Divisional Round. In that game, the Chiefs were once again behind and rallied back to get the 35-24 win against Titans and secure their spot in Super Bowl LIV.

With odds of +500, Kansas City Chiefs were the favorites to win the title before the start of the season and they have just one game left to win to make the bookies’ predictions come true.

Kansas City Chiefs will appear in the Super Bowl for the first time since 1970 and have a chance to win the second Super Bowl in the franchise history.

In addition to the main markets, there are other betting options available at FanDuel. For example, you can also bet on same game parlay, 1st half, quarters, player props, total points for away or home team, alternate totals, winning margins, etc.

Super Bowl Predictions and Picks

The Super Bowl will be a matchup made in heaven for all neutral NFL fans – two teams that rely on different things that make them successful. It will be only the second Super Bowl ever between teams that led their conferences in rushing yards and passing yards. The 49ers rushed for 2,305 yards this season, while the Chiefs gained 4,498 yards by passing.

The Chiefs have been masters of comebacks this season and led by Rick Mahomes, they have managed to get to the Super Bowl after going down in both of their postseason games. Mahomes is widely hailed as one of the best passers in the NFL but he is also more than capable of rushing.  In fact, he has been the Chiefs’ leading rusher in both postseason games and he is only the fourth quarterback in history to rush for at least 50 yards in consecutive postseason games.

While Mahomes will be the main factor for the Chiefs, the 49ers will rely on their running game as usual, especially on their leading running back Raheem Mostert. Mostert showed what he is capable of in the NFC Championship game against the Packers with a ridiculous stat line – 29 carries, 220 yards, 4 TDs. We will see whether the Chiefs defense can do anything to stop Raheem and the 49ers running game.

Our Picks for Super Bowl

Moneyline Pick: 49ers

The key in the Super Bowl LIV will be the running game by 49ers. While the passing game of Chiefs is reliable and led by one of the best quarterbacks in the game, 49ers know how to limit the passing game of their opponents.

And while they did have problems this season with mobile quarterbacks like Mahomes, we expect to see the 49ers defense at their best on February 2. We still expect to see the Chiefs putting up some 20+ points in the game but if 49ers manage to keep the Chiefs under 30 points, we believe they can get the win.

Total Points Pick: Over 54

As we already said, the 49ers will have to limit the deadly offense by Chiefs if they want to have any chance to win this game. But Chiefs have scored less than 23 points only once since Mahomes took over as their starting quarterback at the start of the 2018 NFL season.

In addition to this, both teams have averaged about30 points per game this season and despite the fact that the Super Bowl games often make the teams more careful and alert on defense, over in this game seems like a solid bet.

Conclusion: Who Will Win Super Bowl

Super Bowl will be one of the closest final games ever, judging by the odds found at most bookies. The difference between the 49ers and Chiefs, according to bookies, is 1-2 points.

Making a prediction for this game is a tough task. Hopefully, we have managed to give you some idea of what you can expect and we hope that our advice can help you make a winning bet for the Super Bowl.
